my computer is Intel 3.06 Ghz 512 Mb ram .. 128 VGA,, i have installed different differennt versions of Photoshop ealier. Bt they get stucked while im working.. it is very hard to work. wat can i do for this.. i formated the computer and re installed it.. Bt it is still happening. please tell me wat should i do

have you tried changing the scratch disk file size?
and what else is running in the background? Edit/preferences/memory and image cache.
look up scratch disk in the help file
