PHOTOSHOP?(picture included)?

I want to learn how to photoshop like the myspace layout sites.

If you see layout sites, their default is REALLY pretty and really well photoshopped.

I use photofiltre, sometimes gimp.

QUESTIONS.

1) How do i make the background like this?

2)How do i make that kind of logo?

3)Do i need to download some other software?

It ll take some time.

Import that pic in to a new pshop page.

Make 4 new pshop pages using the colors from this your original for those strips.

Use the pattern stamp tool to make funky patterns to fill the entire page. Then under layers change the layer fxs to xolor overlay. Pick out a color and then fade it back from 100%. Try other layer options than normal too. You'll have to play with that.

Get all 4 pattern pages where you like the, and they match and get the lasso tool with the straight edge and 'clip out' s strip from each one and put them in the page with your original. Line up your strips with the original, and duplicate.

Create a new layer above the original layer for your funky back ground.

Go online and search for free fonts. Find 2 that look like these. Get a pic of yourself and convert image to greyscale, or hit command+U for saturation and desaturate.
